Innovation and Technology Transfer

Technology Transfer activities aim to make EPIC’s scientific and technological knowledge available to the productive sector, enabling the development of practical applications. To this end, we provide support to researchers so they can transform the outputs of their research into patents and successful business ventures.

In partnership with CEPETRO, EPIC promotes several initiatives aimed at disseminating an innovation culture and fostering scientific entrepreneurship. Among the main actions, the following stand out:

Innovation Coffee

Short and informal meetings (15 to 20 minutes) to discuss essential topics related to scientific entrepreneurship, fostering reflection and the exchange of experiences.

Thematic Workshops

Practical and in-depth sessions on innovation, aimed at developing skills and applying concepts to real projects.

Lectures

Presentations of successful startup cases, focusing on entrepreneurial journeys, challenges faced, and lessons learned.

Personalized Mentoring

Specialized support in structuring business models for innovative ideas, with strategic guidance focused on feasibility and impact.

Market Studies

Targeted analyses of the market for the technologies under study, providing valuable insights for competitive positioning and decision-making.

Intellectual Property

EPIC, with the support of INOVA/Unicamp, is prepared to engage with companies interested in licensing our technologies, establishing Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I) partnerships, or exploring other forms of collaboration involving the university’s intellectual property assets developed at the center.
