Mateus Basso

Abstract

Mateus Basso is a geologist (2015), MSc in Petroleum Science and Engineering (2017), and PhD. in Geosciences (2021), all from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He is currently a researcher at the Reservoir Geological Modeling laboratory (MGR – CEPETRO), where he has been involved in oil and gas research projects targeting the Brazilian pre-salt reservoirs. His research is focused on sedimentology and stratigraphy of lacustrine carbonates as well as petrophysical analysis based on non-destructive techniques. At EPIC, his primary focus is on conceptual geology and petrophysical properties integration.
